Saturday, 1.Mar 2008 the local science fair will be held at UTEP.
Awards recommended are trophies and Barnes & Noble gift
certificates. Mike Waldo is point of contact.
Saturday, 8 Mar 2008 the Las Cruces Science Fair will take place.
Dr. Karen Mikel will send for judges; Dr. Paul Deeson is point of
contact for this and the International Science Fair in June at
Georgia Tech in Atlanta. After discussion it was decided by vote
that the local group fund awards for both local science fairs in the
amount of up to $150.00 each at the discretion of the Loc Sec.
NOTE: Monthly events usually include the El Paso Sunday Supper (Not always on Sunday, most often not at Supper time!), and the monthly Las Cruces Owl Howl. For info. on these or other events, contact any PdN Mensa officer!
